I bought a 2006 model SW600 2 days ago.
Let me tell you first about myself. I'm a plastic surgeon. I live in İstanbul, Turkey. This is my 3rd bike (kymco agility 125,yamaha x-city 250).
My bike is at 8000km. I rode 700 km to come my home. I had lots of wind buffet through all the journey. When leaned forward through the dash board during riding I noticed a calm, windproof and noiseless site. this made me to buy Givi Airflow screen.
There is a noise (plastic vibration) coming from right side of dash board at the beginning of acceleration. there is story of falling to the right side that previous owner told me. I consulted with a mechanic before the payment. he declared me that it is not an important issue. I will take my bike to an official service when I look for new screen.

Probably I made long introduction.

If your bike has been down on the right side the noise or vibration you hear is probably coming from tabs that were broken on the inside of the faring. The only way to repair the problem is removing the whole front end and using ABS cement and self adhesive wall repair tape. It goes by the name of FibaTape here in California.
I have been able to completely rebuild the broken (missing) securing tabs with these two products and the repair permanent. If a tab is missing after the repair all that is necessary is to file or die grind the piece into the same shape as the original. Set up is fast and can be shaped in about 1 hr.

Welcome to the forum. Like johnd said, it is probably due to a broken tab when the bike fell over, or maybe the tupperware just came loose after it fell. It isn't really important but you probably get tired listening to it.

It's good we have a Plastic Surgeon here now. We are all a pretty ugly bunch so free plastic surgery will come in handy.
