Anyone tried braided brake hose?

Has anyone tried braided brake lines to address the mushy feel of the Swing brakes?
Mushiness and pretty high effort is my only "complaint" (not real big concern, really) about the brakes.

Mushiness is pretty much par for the left side brake. Seems to me if it were rock hard you'd never be able to squeeze in the lever far enough to activate the Start switch.

First problem needs to be defined. Bike brand new, then bleed or return to Honda. Bike old, more than 5 years, replace rubber lines with stock. bleed, and at least feel should be returned to what it was designed to be.

Anyway I believe accepted maint. procedure is change flluid every 2 yrs.

I tried EBC "Organic" brake pads on my bike once. The feel was mushy at times, and hard at other times. I didn't know what I'd get when I grabbed the brakes.

I went to EBC HH Double-sintered brakes after those wore out. I got the same good firm feel with each brake application.

It might be simply the brake pad material causing your problem.
