What's to nitpick, even in a minor spill your instinct would be to put your hands out, and I've still got a small piece of stone embedded in the palm of my hand from coming off a bicycle as a kid. I also had a motorcycle accident in the late 80's and suffered a compound break of my left wrist where the force also broke the strap off my wrist watch. My orthopaedic surgeon later told me that the long cuffs of my Furygan gloves stopped road dirt and infection entering the wound made as the bones broke through the skin. Infection that would have resulted in me losing the hand. |

Still a nice picture tho'.
She had 3 pairs and despite my constant nagging does not wear them. We unfortunately saw an accident this weekend on the Cherahola Skyway that's changed her for the better. See a hand without skin does that to you..... Harley riders in shorts, tank tops and brain buckets with half naked girls on the back in a brain bucket of course didn't look so good after sliding down the asphalt  |
