Someone's bound to know!
I'm probably going to get a Givi screen and fit it myself but first need to know how the OE Honda one is removed. Before I do and if anyone's done it and would give a brief description of how it comes off I'd love to know.

Incidentally, fuel consumption - averaging 63mpg(Imp.galls)Beautiful weather, empty Kent country roads - pure magic today!

Whit sometimes posts here, but in case he doesn't see this, here is a link to his fine instructions for removing the windscreen garnish

Thanks - the video is very helpful but is it neccessary to remove the radiator shield first just to get the screen out?I imagine it was featured as part of a bigger strip down.
I could only view the video as my sound card has packed up!

Just need to remove the panel immediately below the screen. No need to remove the radiator panel or the front fairing. It's the part where the guy uses a credit card to facilitate the panel sliding forward over the indicator lens.

Two screws in the air vent and two on the dash side just below where the screen ends.

PS There is no sound Smile

Remove the screws at the bottom edge of the windscreen. Remove the two screws in the ventilation air intake in the front.....plastic.....nose thingy. The triangle shaped opening.

The nose panel has a pair of plastic hooks that will want to keep it in place. They hook UPWARD, which means you need to move the piece DOWNWARD. Fiddle with it a bit and it will come off.

From there, removing the windscreen is a matter of taking out a few screws. It's easy.

To install the Givi correctly you'll need to use the two metal brackets they supply with the new windscreen. You'll need to drill a couple of holes in the bike. You're drilling through plastic, so use a slow drill speed and be careful. It's easy, though. Use a bit that is just slightly larger than the supplied screws you'll be using. On the inside of the piece you're drilling Honda has already attached a couple of nuts. Be careful not to damage the threads.

It's really a pretty easy install.
