| I saw this designed for bicycles and I wonder if it would be valuable to us?
Virtual Lane
I think it would be really cool to be able to project a lane up to 30 feet in front of me. This way if I am in the blind spot of a driver he can still see the lane. Seems like it should be simple to adapt.
What do you all think?

| Interesting; I'd feel it necessary to remember to ride as if the light wasn't on, though. As some of the reviewers have observed, it won't deter the poor drivers. |

| For the car drivers that tend to encroach into what I call "my personal scooter space" (varies with location and conditions) I would prefer a directional EMP device, but this looks like a fun way to spend $20.00 and support the battery industry just a little bit more than I do now. Plus I could be the pied piper to all the neighborhood cats. Count me in! |

| When was the last time that you (as a car driver) noticed some skinny little line (only 30 feet long) on the road when moving from one lane to the next? I think this might work if the moving lane marker were about a foot wide and extended at least 50 yards down the road. Let's face it folks, most car drivers (me included) tend not to see things they don't expect to see.

| Jon, When was the last time you had the opportunity to see red lasers creating lines on the road next to you?
I agree that a wider line would be better, and farther out would also be good. I'd have to see how far forward one could shine a light without blinding drivers.
You could also use a laser to project a message on the ground behind you, such as "Please don't tailgate" or "Stay Back"
Not seeing what you don't expect to see sounds almost like a circular arguement. |

| You could use them like runway lights - help you get your aim right ... |
