| Hi All - I'm waiting for my new Wing to be delivered - due end of October. Used to own a Burger 400 - currently a Suzuki gs500 (big wheeler) - going back to a maxi scoot to keep the British weather off, and get me some comfort. |

| Hello and welcome!
I'm moving back to the UK soon - to Salisbury.
If you're into Rideouts, perhaps we could meet sometime; I have a few scootering friends within reach and we ride together when time allows. |

| Hello from another UK rider waiting for his SW to arrive. Isn't it strange how the date of a visit to the dentist or something you aren't looking forward to comes round in a flash and then something like waiting for a new bike to arrive seems to take forever. This is a very helpful friendly forum by the way What colour have you gone for? Regards Paul |

| Thanks for the welcomes!
I've gone for the blue - which is why I got to wait so long. Could of had black or silver sooner, but my current machine is black and silver so I went for something different. Wht about you?
Paul, you're right, it's only been on order for 3 weeks but it seems like for ever!
And hi to Paul from Bolton
Certainly looks like some good info here - and some names I've seen elsewhere ... |

| Just down the road! Are the heated grips worth buying? I ride all year round and it gets a bit parky sometimes. |

Have to admit they do come in 'handy' during the nippy winter months. I still use winter gloves as the outside of my hands get cold but the grips do make a massive difference to the comfort of a ride. |

| Hello from the cold and wet Lancashire coast.
If I had bought a new Silverwing then Blue would have been my colour of choice. A rather well fettled Silver one came along and I went for that instead. Bought it from a Honda dealer in Manchester, found out afterwards it was one of Marco's cast offs. He swaps his scooters about once every six weeks, there will probably be a black one up for sale soon! BTW you may have seen me on the BurgmanUSA forum, I still have my 400
Cheers, |

| Thought I recognised the grin - yep spent some time on the BurgmanUSA forum a couple of years ago until I px'd my old 400 for the GS. Had to have a different user name cos the other one was already taken here. Miss the scooter, but needed more power - Nice to catch up.
I'll speak to the dealer heated grips when it's being pdi'd. |
