| Does anyone have anything great to say about a Power Commander for the Silverwing?
They cost in the $275 range and I wonder if dropping that chunk of change is worth it.
So, who's got a PC and what do you think about it?
On a related note: Who's got a used PC for sale?

| I have the power commander on my bike. Custom mapped. Huge difference. Smooth power throughout the band. Slight increase in horsepower. J Costa Variator provides improved response Leo Vince Exhaust adds about 5hp. No increase in top end, but I got there faster.
The trinity results in the best power increase short of boring turbocharging or nitrous.

Dan Is it necessary to have dyno access to set up a PC? Or does it work out-of-the-box with on-line access to additional maps? Tim |

| I thought that the PC only works on SW with 02 sensors? My 2002 does not have the sensor. |

| Actually works on all Silverwing years. Later model wings (08 on I think) have an O2 sensor in the exhaust. You do not have to have dyno access to set up a PC. In fact you can load maps from your computer. However no two engines are exactly the same. Altitude can even play a part since what you are doing is controlling the fuel/oxygen ratio across the band. PC does make various devices to allow you to tune and change the results on the fly, but if you need that much performance, than the PC is only part of the equation, and you can put the money to better use on the exhaust and variator than PC accessories.
