| Oh well. There was some interesting stuff over there. But it had less than 100 members. |

| Yeah, I just tried to access it and it is off line now. I know that some didn't like the way Terry (Bigbird) would phrase things and he and a couple of others here would go back and forth, but I always liked Terry and respected his knowledge and that he would offer help to anyone who needed help. I wonder if he still has his SWing. |

| I'm sorry to hear that, I joined and posted a few times when it first started then I sort of lost interest in it. Would he be welcomed back here like the prodigal son? DennisB also took his toys and went off for a while for reasons unknown to the majority of us, and he returned. |

| I would also like to see Bigbird back here. Terry has a good knowledge of the Silverwing and was willing to impart his knowledge to anyone that needed it. A lot of us can be hard to live with, I know myself that my sense of humour doesn't gel with everyone. Does anyone know how to get in touch with Terry? Perhaps one of the other Canadians on this site could 'pop round' and see him. Cheers, |

| I echo Meldrew really. Tried it but preferred the atmosphere on here. I think I may have Terry's email but I don't really think it's my place to bear an olive branch. Edited to say I DON'T have Terry's email! Sorry! 2nd edit! I now have Terry's email!!! Thanks!

| The difference people, is reason.
The reason big bird started another site was that he was disagreeing with how this board was managed.
When his ire died down and he was no longer angry or out to prove anything, he was stuck. After all that work ego doesn't let you stop, at least for a while. But eventually if you are not passionate, and you are not getting the results that you want, you go quietly into that good night.
People from this board joined his board, but very few migrated there as a full time choice.
When people gave up .org, it was because the board owner chased us away en mass and we had someplace to go.
Management has not chased people away from here because most of us did not share his anger, so he did not get the same kind of migration.

| I think Bigbird, at one point, was offering advice to someone who took exception, and, if i remember, it got quite nasty. Maybe that was the final straw for him. I, for one, am deeply indebted to him for all his invaluable advice and hope to see him back on line here soon. |

| I believe Terry got a new bike(not a Silverwing). I liked Terry, still do in fact. He sold me a set of Dr Pulley sliders and even brought them down hear to Florida to save me shipping. then he installed them and a new belt. And he made a video of the process to post for everyone's help. I hope he gets in touch with me when he comes down again. I met his family and they seamed like real nice people. I collect coins for my grandson and he even gave me a sample of each Canadian coins. I have plenty of US coins for them, but vary few from outer countries. I would like to see him come back to this forum but I don't think he will since he now rides a different bike. It's a shame, as he did have a lot of good information about the Wing.
