| Cycle Gear
With a trip imminent in a week or so, I was wondering about this kit? Anyone use one? It appears to be very portable and hopefully would work as an emergency patch until a dealer could be found. Presently on sale for $39.99 USD. Any thoughts, or recommendations? Thanks. |

| If the kit is a plug you insert in the tyre(after removing, whatever was in the tyre)and then, has something to re-inflate your tyre. It is similar to the kit i carry in both my bikes. I put a plug in, after a recent puncture in my rear tyre. It usually states it is an emergency get you home repair, however my plug has been in a couple of months and the tyre has not lost any pressure, i've covered several thousand miles on it, i ride at normal speeds and happy to leave it in till I replace the tyre. Well worth carrying |
