| IIRC, in the UK it's illegal to ride your PTW without your helmet strap fastened. It's also pretty stupid, given that it's there to give your head some protection, which it can't do if it comes off 'cos you didn't fasten it.
(I know in some States over the pond lids are optional, but this was the UK Waspie posted about.)
Did you see the programme about the Sea King on last night's tele, Doug. Quite good. |

| Helmet ain't gonna save your head if it ain't on it.
It is an offence in the UK not to wear one and have it secured, too. |

| I think I'm going to get a picture of the side of my head airbrushed onto my helmet. This way if my helmet ever comes off....... |

Yup, caught up with it on iPlayer this morning. Nice to see some of my old mates too as well as the mighty Sea King itself. Listening to Wally Wallace and Shiner Wright reliving their experience on the MV Murrey was a trip down memory lane indeed! |

My buddies would stick their fingers underneath the back of the helmet and tickle my head. |

| Oh, you are all a sick bunch of OFMC. Which stands for Old Farts Motorcycle Club, and is the club I ride with here in beautiful Southern California WWW.ofmcsb.com I think some one should make some kind of pull on vinyl covers we could cover the helmets with and I would buy one in a second.
While at a Harley show, I bought a patch that said " your nipples are staring at me" but I was afraid of wearing it at work, because of sexual harassment. :lol!:
( 77 deg yesterday 3/02/13 and the beach was full of eye candy) I am sorry if I offended any one for that one comment. I kind of feel soooo sorry. ha Ha |

| I have a T-shirt that says "Life's a Wench" I keep having to tell people I'm sick and tired of hearing "Life's a bitch" Bitches are in control. Wenches are subservient. So it means I'm in control of life, not the other way around. And where would you get such a T-shirt? At a Renaissance Festival of course. |
