| Fred, Mate, The scariest place I have ever been is Bali. Thousands of scooters going in all directions, even on the footpaths, wron way on one way streets and mixing it with all the other traffic 24/7. Walking around was a matter of taking ones life in ones hands, sort of like London (I used to watch "Hazel" and "On the Busses" you know). but much more traffic. Street signs are decorations or can be taken as personal insults by the Indonesians. The most piognant part of the trip was seeing all the names of the people from all over the world that were killed in the Bali bombings. The most interesting place was Kintamani, where we descended into the Mt Batu volcanic caldera. It is a very cheap place to stay, but I am not in any hurry to go back. |

| Hello Kurt, Bali always conjours up images of beautiful beaches, temples in the jungle, oriental and tribal dancing. In fact a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Going by what you have said I think I'll just go to Bognor for the fortnight instead this year! At least you have made it back to civilisation (or what the Antipodeans think is civilisation). Was thinking of going out on the Silverwing this weekend, what did the weather do - bloody SNOW! At the moment it is what we call 'Nice behind glass.' Won't be going out next weekend either, Easter weekend on our roads is a nightmare, Sunday drivers having their first drive out of the year and going further than Tesco's carpark. Cheers, |

| Yeah Fred, like you I've been watching too many Bob Hope and Bing Crosby "Road" movies. Totally unlike what I expected. I reckon Blackpool might be more sanitary.
Your comment : Sunday drivers having their first drive out of the year and going further than Tesco's carpark.
That's cos Tesco moved the finishin post. I know I know, flogging the dead hor... oops sorry... I mean err...I don't mean to go on and nag... Argghh This is a hurdle ... I can't win! I

| Stop horsing around Kurt, nothing wrong with Tesco's meat pies... the seagulls loved them when I threw the crap onto the garage roof.
