Smileys, their meanings

Does anyone have a list of what the Smileys represent? I tend to use smile, laughter, exclamation. Chicken dance gets used but I'm never sure if I'm using it correctly.

Yes I'd seen those descriptions but I would like to know in what context to use them, for example when would you use (even if they spell it incorrectly!) or
