| I have been rideing my Silverwing since purchasing it last September and have been looking to find others that enjoy just going out and exploring the area around southern middle TN. any info would be helpful I see a lot of large scooters in the area but doesn't look like there are many groups that get together and ride |

| the answer on fairing/windshield----is yes and.....somewhere there is givi adjustable available, too.....further National Cycle Street Shield is 80% on right now, GOAL: still air about head/ears/face
Fun to work on bike with little plastic....but no center stand sucks
Proper wndshield/fairing design----no wind deflectors required-----too bad designers/industry big wheels don't ride everyday----this bike has no place to store papers!! |

| And I guess these last two posts apply to riding in TN because John will ride his new bike in TN? Otherwise it would be good to move them to the thread to which they apply. Like this one: https://www.silverwing600.com/t5967-another-2013-purchaseit is just the courtesy we should extend to the original poster. And it keeps the information posted in the correct location. |

| Bob and I will be down in Knoxville in July. We plan on checking out the roads towards Nashville this year.

| I live in southern middle Tennessee (Lewisburg)
And I think riding in TN is great, and riding with other people is perfectly safe.
If I can give one piece of advice, it would be ignore every single thing John Grinsel says about Tennessee. If you were as crotchety as him, your neighbors would be trying to run you down too. |

| You don't have to believe anything John says, but it's easy enough to find out where the dirty bathrooms in Tennessee are just by looking on Trip Advisor, Yahoo!, Yelp! etc.

| I agree, Bob and I think Tennessee is a great state to ride in. The surrounding states are great too. Lots of roads to explore whether for a day or a long weekend. Bob and I have thought about retiring down there some day. I still like having the four seasons. Just not so cold and snowy.
Maybe we can get together for a ride in July if our schedules allow.
Dale, maybe this year we can meet up. I would like to see your Goldwing.
Cathy
