| I am in SE Kansas, and I own a 2009 Silver Wing with a Danson Conversion! Gyro is my nickname, but Jim is my name. Now that first wannabe thread of mine can be laid to rest! There's a few more pics on my FB page at FB S'wing album |

| Gyro, Looks great! I have a 2009 also. Bought it with 3,700 miles in Sept. 2010. Last Sunday it turned over 34,000 miles. You will have a lot of fun. BTW |

| Gyro,
Congrats and it looks great. I bet you are pretty excited you finally have it. Do you have any rides planned yet this year? |

My wife's Great-great-great-grandfather is buried at the George Washington Carver National Monument in Diamond, Mo. That's about 50 miles away. I think a trip over there so she can see her ancestor's grave will be our first "ride." I'd like to spend a weekend in Eureka Springs, Ar. later this spring/early summer before the weather gets too hot to enjoy the ride. Beyond that is "wait & see." |

| Gyro, Eureka Springs, AR is a great place to ride. The STO "Scootin the Ozarks" Rally is held every Sept. there. Just search STO on this forum and the thread will come up. Bob and I went down in 2011. A few members from here have gone. Smorkle from here is the ride coordinator. Check it out. Hope your having better weather than we are. We have had rain and cold all week. And next week the same. |

You might just see us there that weekend, weather cooperating! My Dad was born & raised in Eureka Springs. I visited at least once a year when I was a kid. (That was when it was a sleepy, forgotten town.) I still visit as often as I can. |

| Gyro, back in 1971 I had a razor, I forgot to pack it when I moved and never bought a new one. Been so long I really don't see the need to get one now. |

| Gyro: Nice looking bike. I see you are from Frontenac, KS. Years ago I spent quite a bit of time in the Pittsburg/Frontenac/Galena area doing mine reclamation work. I was just out of college and really enjoyed that part of KS. There used to be a great steakhouse called Jim's Steakhouse in P-burg. Is it still there? I think that was the best steak I have ever tasted. There was a another restaurant in Frontenac called Chicken Annies that served up some very tasty fried chicken. Are they still around too? |

| Hi! Yes, Jim's Steakhouse is still in business. My son has worked there for the last 7 years. Chicken Annie's is still going strong, as is their next-door rival, Chicken Mary's. The two chicken joints were featured on the Travel Channel's "Food Wars" program a couple of years ago. |
