Cool Hi, I am a new member from Clarenville NL, Canada. My darling wife purchased the S'wing for me last September as I retirement gift cheers . I retired at 53, hence the user name Freedomjerr. The Scooter was a 2006 model "new in the box". The dealer gave me a $3000.000 discount from the current MSRP.
I have had bikes from 1971 to 1998 when I sold my last Goldwing.

Now I am back in the saddle.
This S'wing is so much fun and a real pleasure to drive. This past week I returned from a 6 day trip to Saint John New Brunswick where I logged 3,010 km in 4 days on the road with a 2 day layover. To date I have 8,100 km on the Scooter.

Looking forward to this forum.
Jerry

Hi...I'm a new member from Harrisburg, PA. Just purchased a 2002 silver wing and there was no owners manual with it. I have one on order but would like to put a bulb in the rear compartment and do not know what bulb to purchase. Can someone help me? Where is a good place to order a parts manual?

Thanks.

Randy

Welcome, Randy.

I have a 2003 S'wing. You should consider whether you want a light under the seat. I intentionally took mine out, b/c I didn't want a half-closed seat to run the battery. Since the seat opens so wide, and the bulb was so small, I found that I didn't really need it.

Randy, as many owners here I removed my bulb to avoid a battery recharging.
The bulb is 12V, 3.4W ('08 SW)

Welcome to Jerry and Randy. In my humble opinion, this is the best S'wing forum online. The members are cordial, respectful, and nothing-but-eager to help out, and there's a lot of experience to draw from.

I hope you'll both enjoy your stay.

Welcome. Freedomjerr this is a great time of life to really enjoy to the fullest. What a great gift from your wife Smile Wish my husband liked to ride but he doesn't. I'm solo most of the time.

Jerry and Randy,

Welcome to the forum.

As for the light under the seat. I really like stock things, but the light is terribly unecessary. I've replaced it with a switchable light from the mid 90's integra.

enjoy the SilverWing.
