Record your tunes to your PC (or MAC). You will need a USB card reader that will read your SD card. Copy the files to your SD card as MP3 format. Then you can install the SD card to your GPS and play. You can find USP Card readers on Ebay and at retailers everywhere. Get one for less than $10.00 ( http://shop.ebay.com/items/usb%20card%20readers?_dmd=1&_sop=12 ) There are many many places to get one.
If you have more questions, post or send me private message.

| I did a search in Itunes Help.. for MP3 ... I got a list with the following suggestion among the list. Kinda jumbled up, but I did figure it out and converted on of my original Itune files to MP3 .. If I can do it, you can. Let me know where you get to if you still need more help. You can do this. Saving a copy of a song in a new file format
You can convert a song to a different file format while keeping a copy of the original. For example, you can save a copy of a compressed song file such as MP3 or AAC in an uncompressed song format (AIFF or WAV). When converting from a compressed to uncompressed file format (for example, from MP3 to AIFF), you shouldn't notice any reduction in sound quality. However, when converting between compressed formats (for example, MP3 and AAC), you may notice a reduction in the sound quality. For the best results, if you want your music encoded in a different file format, import the music again from the original source using the new encoding format. Important:Except for iTunes Plus songs, you can't convert iTunes Store purchases.
To convert a song's file format: Choose Edit > Preferences, click General, and then click Import Settings.
In the Import Using pop-up menu, choose the format you want to convert the song to, ( you wanted MP3) and then click OK to save the settings.
Right-click a song and choose one of the choices is "Create MP3 Version"
The song in its original format and the newly converted song appear in your library. Then you should be able to copy to your SD card for using in your GPS. Hope this helps.
