| I've only had the '04 Silver Wing a week, but have already ordered a top box and an Air Flow windshield. Oh, and the best modification for me, removed the driver's back rest!
I'm really appreciating Honda quality on this used bike. I got it with 5500 miles on it. Seems to be in great order. I changed the oil and aired up the tires and am ready to ride. |

| Did you do anything to the seat where the holes are? I am considering removing the butt rest on mine, too. |

| I would try the but rest to backrest conversion. It will not cost much to try and if you end up not liking the backrest just pull it out and ride without it. Below is a link to the do it yourself for the conversion. http://www.leroybeal.net/motorcycles/silverwing/articles/backrest/backrest.html |

Below is a link to the do it yourself for the conversion. http://www.leroybeal.net/motorcycles/silverwing/articles/backrest/backrest.html If you don't feel comfortable fabricating the above (I didn't) there are guys that sell the kit and you can install it completely and easily in a matter of minutes. Try looking at eBay that is where I got mine. Good luck. |

| Tomorrow's project is installing the Air Flow Givi windshield.
I'm not stressing about the butt/back rest. Maybe I'll try the modification or maybe I'll leave it as it is. Doesn't actually bother me yet. |

| I got the GIVI Air Flow windshield installed and also got a Bestem Top Box installed. Still lovin' the SWing! |

| How are you liking the Givi AF? I have had many screens and this is the best so far for me, by far really. |

| I struggled with the cost of the AirFlow for a while. But now that I have it, I am very pleased with the performance and the adjustability.
I'm also pleased with the Bestem box. For around $100 shipped, it's pretty nice. |
