Hi to all. I am from Malta and just bought a 2002 Silver Wing. First impressions are very good. Feels powerful enough two-up, very comfortable for both rider and pillion, and love the luggage space. I also own an XLR250 and a Yamaha XJR1300.

I thank all for welcoming me to the site, Yesterday evening I went out for my first scooter ride with three of my friends, still getting accustomed to the different handling of the Silver Wing compared to my other bikes. At one time I even tried to apply engine brake with a couple of downshifts but soon realised that my clutch is now the brake Shocked Embarassed Laughing . My pillion wife is probably happiest because she can now put both feet on the rests comfortably because following a motorbike accident many years ago left her with restricted knee bending to her left leg. I can now leave our helmet and other clothing in the scooter compartments and not have to worry where to put them when we go for a meal or drink. Anyway I think I'm in love again Smile
