| If your talking about the gear oil it's the same as the engine oil and about 10 ounces if empty. |

| ScooteRGuy told you what kind and how much oil.
This oil change is done while on the center stand.
There is a drain plug located on the lower side of the gear box to drain the old oil. It has an aluminum washer on it.
There is a fill plug on the side of the gearbox near the wheel hub.
The drive belt/clutch housing has a cosmetic black plastic outer cover over it that is held on by about 4 screws. Under that is a cast aluminum outer housing that covers the belt/clutch etc.
The fill plug is a long (2") shoulder screw that goes through the plastic outer cover. It is easier to change the oil if you remove the plastic belt cover. It will give you easier access to the fill hole.
I put the oil in a plastic (ketchup) bottle with a small hose attached. You keep squiring the oil in until it starts running back out of the fill plug hole.
Hope this helps! |

| kostas, I did this "Pictorial" some time ago. You don't need to take anything off at all. You just need a 12mm open end wrench to remove the plug. Make sure you rotate the wheel after the oil has drained. some oil will remain inside but if you rotate the wheel most oil should come out. https://www.silverwing600.com/t200-changing-the-final-drive-oil-pictorialI removed everything the first time but found out that the manual isn't accurate. Just put the bike on the center stand and get on the ground and remove the drain plug with the wrench. |
