I discovered, to my dismay, that the rear fender of the S'wing was hitting the rear fiberglass cover on the Danson kit!  It was wearing through the fiberglass!

I did not want to change the shock settings, so I decided to trim one inch off the end of the fender.  After trimming and reshaping everything, I applied a piece of masking tape over the rub marks on the Danson rear cover.  Ack!  It still rubbed!

Well, I reluctantly cut another inch off the rear fender.  It was actually a fairly easy task using the router attachment to my Dremel tool to make the horizontal cut and a woodworkers backsaw to make the angle cuts.  Radiusing was done with a Microplane.  The smaller piece of fender in the pic below was the first piece I removed from the fender.

I do not think the final result looks bad at all.  If I still get any rubbing when riding two-up, I will adjust the shocks up a notch, even though I do not want to stiffen the ride.
