| Anyone have this problem where the seller keeps canceling an order due to some pieces being too large? I have been having problems ordering the larger plastic replacement pieces for my Swing. The first time the seller cancelled my order was because my cart was empty. How was my card charged if my cart was empty? After two more orders being cancelled due to the size of some pieces, I gave up and ended up ordering all my items from Service Honda. It cost more for shipping, but I am happy they are able to ship me the items. Sorry, just needed to vent.... |

| Who were the venders that gave you trouble? It may save us from the same problems when we try to get parts. I'm glad you finally got the parts you needed. |

I am not sure if forum etiquette allows me to say. What say the forum? |

| If what you say is an unembellished statement of fact which can be proved I don't see a problem. |

| As I understand it, one avoids mentioning actual names while an effort is still under way to resolve the problem with the vendor. But if the vendor fails to correct the problem and it seems like it's going to stay that way, then a factual account of what happened, including names, is completely legit and welcome.
The definitions of slander, libel, and defamation all include the caveat that it's only "wrong" if it's not true.
Consider it "feedback", just like what you'd find on eBay and Amazon.

| The bigger problem is that I live in Hawaii and they are not able to ship larger boxes to me using USPS. The lessor problem was that my first order was refunded to me because they claim my shopping cart was empty. My question is how can there be a charge if my cart was empty. It's their web site. BTW, my cart was not empty. So I re-order the items and after several days, it gets canceled due to two items being too large. So I re-order the items less the two that they identified as being over sized and the very next day, it is canceled for having another item being over sized. Below is their response.
Dear Sir,
I do apologize for the inconvenience this has cause, but we are not able to ship any orders over 24inX24inX24in.
Regards,
Cynthia

| I personally would probably just order locally - by the time anyone adds shipping to HI onto the order, it's going to cost a bunch. Do you have multiple Honda dealers there? If so, I'd just call them up and ask for their best price on it. I imagine they have a way to get the parts to HI relatively cheap (and reliably). |
