Hello from Cleveland Ohio. I bought my first large scooter, a swing of course, changed the oil, oil filter, air filter, and plugs the old plugs were a nice tan color. It is an 08 with 20,000 miles but for $1,400 dollars I couldn't pass it up. I owned 30 mopeds and at least 60 motorcycles and I must say I am enjoying it. I am going to paint it and my question is should I go with the original color metallic gray 2008:
NH194 HEAVY GRAY METALLIC 08P50-NH194M-PN or should I go with BMW metallic blue, some of the panels are scratched so I figured I haven't seen that color yet. What do ya think original color or new blue? Stumpfy

Blue would be nice. I think the SWing only came in blue one year (2006?).

Stumpfy welcome to the best Silverwing forum on the web. I come from Ohio but I left there in 1972 to come down here. I miss the spring and fall even the summers, but not the winters. I have over 47,000 on my 08 and I would never give it up for $1,400, you got a great deal. As for what color to paint it you are the one that has to be happy in the end. If it was me I would stay with the original color so if I ever needed to replace a panel I could get it and not have to paint a new panel. If I did change the color I would chose a OEM Honda blue so I could at least get a new panel in that blue.
