New member from AL

Hey all, just joined the forum to do a little esearch on the SWing. I currently scoot on a yamaha zuma 125 and and a HD FLHT, yes 2 worlds apart. If anybody in the N AL area reads this and wants to offer me a test ride message me and we will make it happen. I love the zuma, but sometimes a guy needs to go faster than 53 mph  .

Howdy Goodtime and welcome to the SW forum. I almost bought a Zuma once but the paltry top end scared me off. I live in the country and have to ride a 70mph road into the city and will not ride the shoulder on 2 wheels. I need something that can keep up with traffic. Funny, even with my huge V10 F350, folks still want to run me over if I don't drive the speed limit. That's why I'm getting a 600cc scooter like the Silverwing.

    If you get a Silver Wing, the HD may get more time in the garage.

The folks at Cycles Unlimited in Decatur have a 2009 in stock, you may be able to test ride.

Dale, I go to CU quite often, but they seem to think all their stuff is pure gold. They will keep a bike 2 years and never lower the price, but thanks.

That can indeed be true about C.U.  I bought my Goldwing from them and I was fortunate in that they gave me what I wanted for my Silverwings and the price on the Goldwing was acceptable to me.  They are good folks in spite of their pricing strategy.  I often ride over there to get parts and service.
 
I wish I still had one of the Silverwings, I'd surely let you give it a ride.
