| For those of you that had an interest in the CTX-700 it now has a big brother powered by the 1300 cc V-4 from the Pan European / ST. http://rideapart.com/2013/10/2014-honda-ctx1300-cruiser-spied-world-exclusive/ http://www.ridermagazine.com/top-stories/2014-honda-ctx1300-first-look.htm/

| http://hondanews.com/videos/83809f15-2713-41fe-8bf2-403ec8765cc2 They made the official release announcement today, unfortunately for me though they did not include the cool DCT transmission option like the smaller CTX700 has available. I guess I'll just keep riding my 700 DCT. |

| No DCT, no efficient new motor, just new lipstick on an old pig. |

| Awesome looking bike but without the DCT (which is available to Honda D'oh) I think they will miss out on a bunch of us "mature" riders... just my two cents worth!!! |

| I've always wondered why they don't offer the DCT on the Gold Wing also |

My prediction is that during the next MAJOR revision to the Gold Wing, either DCT or CVT will be made available. |

| Wow, I really like what I see in the pictures of this new CTX1300. With the addition of the list of accessories I have copied below from the Honda web site I look forward to seeing one in a dealership when possible.
Make It Your Own We'll have plenty of Honda Genuine Accessories available to give your CTX1300 its own look. There'll be a tall windscreen, heated grips, backrest with pad, 12V accessory socket, rear trunk (45L), LED foglight kit, plenty of chrome accents, and more!

I hope you are right, the folks on the GW forums wished for that on the 2006 makeover and then again in 2012. The other big items on the with list was an electrically adjustable windshield, 2 liter engine and an electric / hydraulic center stand. |

| If I wanted a cruise-tourer, I'd rather get the new CTX 1300 than a F6B Goldwing. I would also like to see cruise control standard on both of these. |
