hitch for a small trailer

Just wondering if (m)any others have put a hitch on their silverwing for a small trailer.  I had one on my 1983 Silverwing and it worked great, now modifying that one for use on my 2009.  Anything I should be aware of with this?

I have a hitch on mine. I bought it from a member of a different forum. I use it to pull my cargo trailer.

Here is the trailer I pull with it.



I don't pull it very often with the Silverwing as I have other motorcycles but it has gotten some use on camp outs.

Everything in this trailer was pulled by the Silverwing on a 5 day campout in the Cascades.

You will need a 5 to 4 converter to hook up your trailer to the Silverwing. Make sure you use LED lighting on the trailer to lower the over all electrical load.
