New Ride Today

After almost 4 years of riding my Silver Wing, I thought it was time for something new, last week I traded her in for a 2014 CTX 700 DCT, so far I think I made the right choice, it handles like a dream with it's 17" wheels, great gas mileage, lower seat, only negative it's chain drive and less storage. It's been great being part of this forum, a lot of smart and helpful people on here. Everyone take care and Ride Safe. Administrator, please sign me off site.

Congrats. I have no doubt these are great bikes. I feel I would really like the transmission and the slower rev - hi torque engine. Since I never buy new, I would be waiting a year or two for a used one to come around. Still, i am pretty sure i would hang onto a scooter or two. I just really like the step-through ease of use. Keep us up on how it works out. Also, what was the out-the-door price, if you don't mind.

Congrats on your new bike.  And you don't need to leave because you bought something else.  Maybe you can do a write up of how you like it after you get a few more miles on it.  I wouldn't worry about the chain since they have come a long way since the old chains.  The new honda DCT is really the only other bike I think I would like.  Congrats.
