| We're a day ahead of you on a UK maxi forum, there's currently two separate topics and seven pages of posts discussing the Vultus. Anyway Honda designed it for young socially-engaged urbanites living a digital existence in a fast moving world, not a bunch of old git's that will want to spoil it's futuristic Stealth fighter looks with a trike kit and beverage holders! |

| Beautiful bike. Looks like they took a few cues from Victory Vision too. Front end begs for some additional high tech lighting. Looks like there are glove compartments that you can only access from in front of the bike. Weird. Back rest needs to be more vertical to give good support. Seat height looks low which is a good thing considering 18 inch wheels. |

| Love it! With those sharp angular lines it kind of looks like a cross between a Huey AH1 Attack Helicopter and a Cadillac CTS Coupe |

| Junk----open chain, no centerstand, where do you carry stuff? and wind in the face direct as you go down road....and black wheels?
Not for me and my money!!
Scooters should be the most practical of 2 wheelers. |

Junk for you, maybe, but there are people other than you who appreciate its form and function. For someone who rides without underwear, I'd be careful using the word "junk". |

| Not a fan of it being chain drive. There are pannier boxes available for storage, in addition to the glove compartments in the fairing. Love the backrest idea, hope they can transfer that idea to other bikes in their line-up. Windscreen looks to be on brackets, so may be adjustable up and down in someway. I own the ctx700 with the DCT and that transmission is unbelievable, so that is a big selling point to me, plus the bigger cc engine and 80 mpgs!! I am not sold on the lines yet but they are growing on me the more I look at the pictures of it. |

| I mostly agree with John (who ironically bought a TU250X, which seems to share some of those issues!) - I looked at it and thought the transmission sounds fantastic, but was equally concerned about storage (although the side boxes integrated on the 02 model seem decent), the windshield does seem awfully low (I imagine that will be fixable if it really is a problem), fuel capacity is on the lower side from some reports (I've seen total range of about 180 miles quoted), and no step through is a bit unfortunate. And John does have some valid points about maintenance, with the lack of a side-stand for instance - I'm also kind of surprised they went single camshaft on a 8 valve engine, which I don't think is a step forward (not a deal breaker either, certainly). In other words, I think they lost a bit of practicality. And, for nearly 200cc more engine, they only get 4 more HP out of it?! (yes, quite a bit more torque) I wouldn't be surprised if the top speed was lower than the Silverwing. I also am not a huge fan of big wheels - I think the smaller Silverwing wheels are actually more sporty, but I could probably live with that. And I was turned off by the marketing that suggested nobody older than their 30s was involved in the design. I don't think experience is a bad thing - I want the people who designed the Silverwing to give their input on a new bike! It's a complex machine that will cost a bunch, not a new Facebook competitor! I'd still ride it. But I'm not rushing down to trade in my Silverwing. Even though it does have that DCT I think I'd love. |

| Flipping Heck! what a bike. It looks like something Batman would ride. My opinion, a horrible looking futuristic nightmare, somebody dreamed up whilst high on drugs. |

| Aimed at a totally different market (age group LOL) than the Silver Wing. We purchased the SW for its strengths, in our minds. I don't want to go back to a chain PERIOD! Been there done that many times, my Trail 90's have chains and they cost 15 bucks to replace.
Would I drive this bike? You bet, I am always up to test something new. I drove a CTX700 with DCT and while it is nice, for me I prefer the SW. YMMV.
At least Honda is broaching new ideas. Now if they would just put some on our beloved SWings... |

| Fantastic! Beautiful and futuristic.Put a large screen on it if necessary and a rear box and call it a winner in my opinion. Cant wait to see the price. In the mean time I am real close to buying a Honda ST 1300 used. |

| I like how the seat backrest folds down to give Robin, the Boy Wonder, a place to sit. |

| Sheesh, what a cockamamie design: The low angle windscreen of a crotch rocket and a back rest that enables an up right riding position. Well at least the saddle is scooped put enough to allow pear shaped bodies to snuggle in. |
