| Hi, I can't remember whether I've posted a previous introduction or not? No, I'm not that old; 51 and retired Navy in Jacksonville. Don't have a Scooter at this time, but doing some thinking. I'll post some questions later. Anyway, experience was 15 years ago in Bermuda (was stationed there), small scooters (but with gears), looked like SYMS, rode them hard, lucky never spilled on coral roads (that is nasty). I've always rode bicycles. So, I'm going to start asking questions! |

| Hi Frank, I'm headed your way tomorrow!
I'd love living in Jacksonville as a rider, I see plenty of people out riding when I visit for xmas, so you could almost ride year round. With the exception of those wild brief thunderstorms, riding seems pretty pleasant all the time there. Jacksonville is so tremendously huge, it just makes sense.
So my answer to your first question (that you didn't ask) is yes, you should get yourself some kind of two-wheeled transportation! |
