| Hello folks, I just bought a used 08' SWing today, and skimmed over the owner's manual this evening. My other bike is an 09 R12RT but need to stop riding it until my right hip is eventually repaired. After returning from work tomorrow evening I plan on checking the SW's engine oil, coolant capacities, and tire pressure before taking this bike on the road. The low seat height and floorboards on the S-wing should carry me comfortably through the next couple months of great weather riding around here. I'd also like to say that I'm very impressed with this forum board, and was blown away by the solid interest in these Silverwings! Thanks everyone, and ride safe. Arne |

| Welcome to this site NW-Putt!
This is a great site. I've used pictorials from this site to learn how to change the drive belt, remove both tires, change the oil and filter along with LOTS of other information about the SWing.
I also have an 08 and love it. |

| Thanks for the warm welcome & advice everybody. The person I bought the bike from has the Honda FSM and will give it to me when he soon finds it. I've already perused this forum a bit, and the maintenance section appears to cover the basic items needed quite well.
Thanks again!! |

Welcome and congrats on your SWing. I'm sure you will really enjoy it. Thanks Jeff I'm sure I will, and as Greysilver reconfirmed.. "this is a great site". Last evening I got a wild hair to replace the rear end oil in the SW. After removing the plastic cover and rear footpeg bracket I soon realized that I couldn't find the drain & refill plugs. Then after a quick search here discovered the locations and it wasn't necessary to remove the plastic covers. LOL Thanks again everyone! |

| Hello fellow Silverwing riders. Just bought my 2004 FSC600D last week. I use to ride many years ago and have looked at the Silverwings for some time now. Always wanted one and I found this 2004 with only 3,000 miles and in perfect condition. Love riding it and have just started to dress it up a little. Any suggestion as to accessories would be appreciated. Great time to ride in Kentucky where I live in the Land between the Lakes area. Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley in western KY. Happy Riding..... |

| Hello DRBoomer welcome to the forum. You should start your own introduction to get your own introductions. It's not to hard, just go here, introductions and at the top left you will see "new post" in a blue oval and click on it. Now if you go hear accessories-modifications and read through the post topics and click on any that sound interesting. You will get lots of ideas for modifications and upgrades. |

| Welcome to a great Silverwing site! To answer one of your questions: Best accessory would be the Givi Airflow adjustable windshield, worth every penny! http://www.giviusa.com/my-motorcycle/honda/silverwing-600/af214-airflow-windshield-detail |
