I thought an updatable poll with the amount of miles on your SWing would be fun ... as your miles increase you just update your answer.

In terms of trying to stretch a ride I, like many others I suspect, have adopted for my theme song: Take The Long Way Home - Supertramp

My machine is hardly broken in, in relation to the others here.  Yesterday she turned up 15,000Km.  It is a 2005 and I've only had it for a short time.  2015 is my second riding season with it.

Mine is a 2005. I got it with 4000 miles, and right now it is at 10,000 miles. I have had it for about a year, 8 months of riding. I think I got the twin to Mike from NS's SWing. They seem to have identical histories and are both in Atlantic Canada.

Mine's four years old and has just turned 9000 miles.

Broke 11,000 yesterday.  Bought my 2006 with 8600 miles back in Feb.
To give you a comparison how much I drive my 3000gt verses my bike
I only racked up 3000 miles in the last 2 years in my car.

Hi my sons 02 Swing has just reached 179.000 miles and I have just recently purchased a second Swing for myself, it's an 04 plate and has done 81,263miles. Mechanical the bike is in excellant condition with good compression (only down 5psi from service manual and has a very clear grey exhaust colour and accellarates and runs as smooth as a silk just needs a lot of TLC regarding the panels having been dropped at 20mph onto a gravel surface

My 2005 Silverwing is just coming up on 50,000 smiles. Great ride! No complaints on the steed runs well and checked gas consumption average around 47-53 mpg depending on how hard I ride it. Yesterday I rode and even 100 miles and averaged 53.3 but was keeping the speed at 60 and 65 mph or less. Generally if I run in the 70 range it gets about 47 mpg. If I could post a picture I would but am too illiterate to do that...

4600 miles total on a 2011. Runs well, no flaws. Maybe a small seep from the front wheel bearing. Really fun to ride.

Just shy of 1000 miles in just over one month on my 2013 SWing!

05 with 11,000 miles of which I put 3,000+ last year, it must have sat around a lot with the last 2 owners.

Now at 8000 just maintenance. tires pretty soon.

I couldn't pass up a 2005 Swing, one owner, In Brand new off the show room floor Condition, all receipts, stored in a Temp controller shop with 5300 Original Miles on it, And a Tall second shield mirror extenders, with throttle lock, Fairing wind deflectors, removable driver seat back rest

Yikes, only 540 mi. since new (Aug. '15). The only riding time I seem to get is commuting (less than 4 miles) and switch off between a car, three motorcycles, and a bicycle (the last preferred for the exercise).

2009 with 28,000 M, got to sell her tho, Kids need a station wagon Mainly used for commuting but hopefully this weekend I will head for the coast coz the Ins runs out on the 10th, Loved most of it though tis the only vehicle to bring a silly grin to my mush.

New here and thought I would bump this thread up to get everyone to update their miles. Just picked up an 09 with 21,000 km (13,000 miles). Will post an introduction later!

2013 bought in Dec. 2015 5 years and 21,700 miles or so . This year is a big ???????????? for so many reasons. Seems like cold weather wants to hang on a little longer.

2001. Bought in October 2016 with 15,500 miles on it. Now showing 32,200 miles.

I bought my SW-T600 2012 in July/2017 10900km/6774miles on it. Now 27000km/16780miles driven..

Used from the 2nd owner at 8,500 miles now at 17, 800.

2 new SilverWings, 2009 and 2013---over 90,000 miles total. No real troubles.

Number 1, a red 2003 bought with 8,000 miles, now has 98,000 miles runs perfect. Runs strong with no leaks or smoke.

Number 2, a black 2012 bought with 10,000 miles, now has over 22,000 faultless miles.

12000 miles on mine.

My SW [2001] has 98.578 km or about 61.000 mls.
But when I bought her, the pervious owner had replaced the engine with an other one and the engine has now run about 25.350 km [registerd km's] or about 16.000 mls.

Racked up some miles last year 8K not so many this year. 30,300 runs like new.

#! 2006 - 43000 km
#2 2006 - 24000 km

both run strong.

no real problems. brake pads, tires, oil, oil filter, batteries, it would be nice to see a newer version. i have tried others like the bergman but find it too "awkward" and big. Like the BMW C650 but not a BMW and too pricy and no local service.
The 600 is like an old shoe.... comfortable and easy to slip into....
Most important parts are readily available at a reasonable price.
They are the preverbal everyday bunny...

My 05 silverwing 600 has 28,,000 miles on it.
