I thought an updatable poll with the amount of miles on your SWing would be fun ... as your miles increase you just update your answer.

Which one counts? 1st one with 48,000 or the second one with 4000??

The poll was created to keep track of the mileage of a single Silverwing.

You could choose to show the highest mileage on either Silverwing ... till you exceed it on your current Silverwing

Wow Bill, that is a lot of miles and it's still running great I guess. I have 34,000 miles right now and wish I could ride more.

My 2010 is 20 days old today with 1250 miles as of this morning.

My current milage is 67500 miles and I think my clutch is wearing out

I think you would be at the top of the list for this forum.

I posted this just after getting my brand spanking new Silver Wing. (October 2009)

Twenty one months later and I have, as of yesterday, passed through the 10,000 mile mark. Mainly commuting but always sat on the seat!!!!

27,000 miles and rising. It is encouraging to see that several have very extensive milage as I hope to take mine that many miles. Well done!

I'm at 32k miles now... She'll probably be at 40k at least by the time the snow comes... I bought my Swing at the end of last June at just shy of 6K. :lol!: She's not only survived but thrived on several big rides already this year including a 1500mile/24hr day. I love my Swing!

I took a quick trip to Tigard,Or. and that put me over 30K on this Swing.I borrowed my wife's for about 2 months and put alittle over 2k so it has 5500 now.

Well, I'm a tad under 20,000 miles on my Swing since I bought it 14 months ago. My last riding day was November 25th. The weather is getting pretty frosty here in Chicago.

I road about 14,600 miles this season. Not bad for my first full season of riding, ever. Had a lot of fun, saw and rode some really nice roads. I got to meet a few great people (Opalsboy, Debbie, Dennis B, Smorkle, Tim, Tressa to name a few) from this forum when Bob and I went down to Scooting the Ozarks.

Looking forward to next season.

I had 22,455 when I got back on the road at end of May or the beginning of June. I now have over 31,200 on my odometer, So far this year that's 8,745 mi. in less than seven months.. Not as good as last year, but still a lot of smiles . And it's not my only scoot and you have to keep the batteries up and the gas fresh.

A mere 15,100 on my 2006 - got it Nov 2011 with 10,250 already on it but am working on making that look insignificant.

Rode some this winter but still, I am a fair weather rider.

6500 on my Swing. I ride it in town as the Goldwing gets the highway miles. I put 17,000 on it last season.

Haven't ridden mine yet this year. Still has 84700 miles on it.

11,000 on one
8,000 on the other

He drives more often during the day and a further distance to work. Took a 3,000 mile trip last year and hope to match it again this year.

Purchased my 2003 used last Oct. with slightly over 6000 miles. As of tonight 7035. Quit riding back in the 70's until now. Sure missed alot of fun.

I had to update my vote because I sold my 2004 SW about a year ago and decided that was a mistake so bought a 2003 last month. This one had about 18,600 miles on it. The weather hasn't been too good for scootering in the past couple weeks but I did get 300 miles around town so far added to the odometer. Not a bad deal on the sell/buy thing I got the 03 for $600 less than I sold the '04. Not to mention I like the bright red better than the maroon color.

No, is not a record, I know at least 2 people, here in Italy, who have traveled almost 200,000 kilometers on the Silver Wing.

Bought an 02 Swing from dealer, as trade-in i guess. It had 27k on speedo when i took delivery on 9/13/2013. Today it has just past 30k. 3k in two months makes my butt pretty much "iron" too. ( this was in reference to Mode28a ) If I didn't work like a pack-mule and live in New England, ( as opposed to an area with year round fair to great weather ) I'd probably have purchased a new belt by now.

Can't imagine how many and how fast the miles are going to rack up as SOON as the weather gets even REMOTELY better again :lol!:

It's not that I out to set some kind of record. it's just that I can't get enough of my Swing. I love this scooter and enjoy EVERY single moment on it, wether it be in great weather or rain to freezing cold. I don't care, I just love riding it, as I'm absolutely sure evry Swing owner does!

I got my 09 Swing 1 year ago in Oct with 2k miles now have 20 K miles 31 k kl 16 K miles this spring up to now. In all the M cycles that I had ,this is by far the one that puts the smiles on my face.

20.000 - 2,000 = 18,000 I don't understand what is in red means? I am a little slow so can you explain what you are saying?

When I bought my Swing , It had 3200 kl,about 2 K miles . I put 5800 kl on the clock before the winter. This spring I started with 5800 kl and now I have 31000 kl . Minus 5800 kl =25200 kl = 16128 miles that was ridden this summer. Sorry for the confusion. 18000 miles is the total since i owned it.

78000K MILES? AM I reading that right? anything other than routine maintenence during your ownership

yes, 78,000 miles (125.600km). Routine maintenance plus 1 "stator" to 57,000 miles (92,000 km). I changed two months ago, the seal on the transmission shaft, for a loss of oil.

238 miles in those 10 days ... 1 ride home, 3 rides to/from work, 1 ride to/from DDS (about 110 RT), 1 ride to church/store ...

Now I just get to look out the window and see him waiting for spring! It is a sad sad day in this household!

Anybody need to log or update their mileage. you can cancel your vote and enter new mileage.      

Most of us are in the under 15,000 miles bit. Would it be possible to break it down into , perhaps 0-1000, 1000-5000, 5000-10000, 10000-15000?

I'm not likely to exceed 15k until late next year at my current rate?

Tomorrow I will be going over 44,000 when I ride it to work. 2009.

Had a 2003 with 37000 and now have a 2008 with 32000.

I now have 40 miles or 60 k kl  , 30 k kl with my Trigg trike kit. Love my trike , ( miss riding on 2 wheels.  

19,406 on my 2008 SWing. Although, I've only put about 1000 on it since I've had it. I brought it home the second week in April.

I bought a new 2007 in June 2008 and it had just over 23,700 miles on it when it was totalled in May 2011. Then I bought a new 2009 in July 2011 and yesterday it turned over 20,000 miles. Running smooth...

242,000 miles,oh wait that was a car at the auto parts store looking for high mileage oil.haha
08 15 k miles as of 2 months ago.Probably totaled.  

Just rode over 45,000 miles on my Swing. Just beginning my 5th season riding. Last year I only rode about 3,500 miles because of and accident I had a year ago today. Looking forward to a couple of long trips this summer. Ride safe everyone.
