| Hi everybody. I'm a new member who live in Sweden. Yesterday I bought a SW and have so far only ridden it for a short, but very promising and pleasant, drive. I love motorcycles and came into scooters a couple of years ago when I bought 2 Italjet Dragsters. One 180 and one 50. These are Italian two-strokers with both attitude and temper. However too small for touring and 2-up driving. I hope to be able to contribute to this Forum. Cheees gorana |

| Welcome gorana,
You'll find that this is the best SWing site on the planet. Lots of friendly people here willing to share their knowledge.
I've learned a lot since owning my 08 SWing which I purchased in April of this year. |

| Thank you everybody for the welcoming! This seems like a great and active forum! I hope I will be able to contribute. I bought my SW last Wedneday. It's a -03 with 11000 miles, and equiped with the original equipment Givi topbox, with the inner bag. It was in quite good condition with some small scratches on the right side. I will have these fixed, and will replace the exhaust cover which also has some scratches. Found areplacement kit at "Webbike" in Japan;) In Sweden the SW sells from appr. 3000$ for a -01. I paid 3200 for mine. So far I have only ridden it some 20 miles, in stormy wether, but I already love it. I will try to make it a little quicker by installing a J Costa and maybe also a PC for the fuel consumption. I will now try to post a question about the J Costa in the correct forum. Cheers! gorana |

| Gorana,
Welcome to the site and congrats on your SWing. I had the J. Costa and the Dynojet PC and if I were you I would save my money. The PC smoothed the engine out some but I think I only got about 3 mpg more with it than without. And I just posted about the pins of the J. Costa and recommended you buy the Dr Pulley sliders instead. But if you buy the new J. Costa please tell us how you like it.
The PC cost me approx $400 (U.S.) with shipping and it did seem to smooth out the engine, even though the SWing is already smooth, but I'm not sure it was worth the investment. Make sure you use the "Euro Map" with the PC if you get it. You can download all of the maps for the PC from their site. |

Hi gorana - congratulations on your new Silver Wing! My wife is a Swedish girl, originally from Ellös. We usually go to Sweden to visit my wife's parents for the Christmas holiday, but one of these years we are going to come in summer and tour Scandinavia by motorcycle. |
