Just bought a 2008 Honda Silver Wing scooter here in Memphis TN. Need an owners manual. Don;t even know where the battery is or how to get to it. Also need to get a service-shop manual. Any help learning about my new bike would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum!  There is a post yesterday by model28a containing a link to a service manual at a great price.  You probably can order an owners' manual from a Honda dealer.

The battery is accessed from within the underseat storage compartment , on the left under a plastic cover held on by one screw. Easy to get to.

Hi Steve and Welcome to this site. Lots of great people with lots of good info here.

I also have an 08 SWing with just over 19,000 miles on it. I love it! It runs great and has plenty of power and speed to ride just about anywhere.
