| Does anyone know what the model number and name is for the redesigned SW 600 in Europe? Have any of you seen it and what did you think? I wonder if we will get it over here in the Colony? Sam |

| It's the SW-T 600 ABS and there's a SW-T 400 ABS too. They've been available in Europe since 2010/11. I've seen them in Austria, Italy, and France. I did think Honda UK would have got their finger out by now and replaced the FJS Silver Wing with the updated model but they haven't.
From what I've read it no longer has a 12v socket in the left hand glovebox, and I'm no big fan of twin headlights where it's a single main beam or single dip. There's probably a couple of SW-T owners on that could tell you more if they read your post.
You could also troll through various Euro Honda importers websites although in a few countries they've now dropped the SW-T Silver Wing for the 750 Integra. If you want basic info and photos in English have a look at Honda Ireland website www.hondaireland.ie |

| Thanks for the reply and link. It's amazing to me that the Ireland Honda shop looks identical to the ones Stateside. Some of the bikes and scooters get different names for the same models here.
I don't know where I heard it but I thought that the Silver Wing of 2014 and 15, was a new design, like the Burgman 650's ??
My Dad (Deceased 2004) while on R&R in England, left Hospital and toured a little into Ireland and Scotland and said they were the most beautiful placed he'd ever seen. He was of Scott ancestry and My Moms ancestry is German.
He was a Paratrooper with the 101st Screaming Eagles and dropped into Cherbourg, France on 'D' day with his "Band of Brothers." He and 2 others were taking point on a bridge crossing and were machined gunned when almost across. The other 2 were killed instantly and shrapnel hit my Dad and went through and took out part of his lower left lung. He jumped off the bridge, into the water and eventually was taken on the "Queen Mary," to England to Hospital. His name is mentioned in a couple of books about the 101st. He passed in 2004. he loved England.

| Thanks for the link Meldrew! It lists the SW-T 600 as a 2011 model; wonder if that means anything? Also the main changes I see are the gauges and twin headlights.
Regardless I still love my "old scud" 2012 SWing, rode it about 35 miles yesterday and wanted to ride all day! |
