| Hi Glenn, I was reading some older posts chatting with you. See that you decided to keep your SW. Came close a few times to getting a Swing but each time something happened that required my monies more. So here I am with 3 bikes now, a 2003 SW ABS, a 2007 B650 Exec. and a 2005 Honda 919 Hornet. Going to sell the Burgman and the Hornet so I can get a tractor for our place out here in the woods. Going back to one bike only and that will be the SW. It's pretty much setup with Russell seat, Givi windshield and Givi V46 top case. About the only other options I may spring for are a breakaway cruise control, passenger backrest on top box and a couple of brake reservoir Ram mounts for electronics like a Chatterbox radio, GPS, water bottle/cup holder and perhaps some after market lighting for bike and top box. Oh, and probably some Progressive front end upgrades. Got the tires and belt and sliders coming at the end of the week.
Now I just need to get out and ride the darn thing. Messed my back up recently weight lifting as I've been off the bikes now for over a month. Finally getting where I can do some short rides. Have to admit though that it's far more comfortable for me to ride with feet below me on the 919 rather than extended cruiser style on a scooter with the back issue. |

| Dan, I decide to keep the Silver Wing as my wife wanted me to get the Goldwing. And as much as I like it, it is a beast! And since she has been on the back all of 3 times... Decided to pay off the SW and keep it. It is perfect for me alone! I too have new tires, belt and Dr Pulley sliders and now a new Cee Bailey windshield. Ready for my next trip starting May 4 on it! Can't wait.
Enjoy yours, and btw what is Troup TX near? I have a son near Fort Hood/ Killeen. |

It is also home to Motor Trike which does conversions for many bikes including the Goldwing. Definitely a beautiful area to ride.

| Dan it sounds like you've done a good job of making your Silverwing "yours". |
