| This answer probably won't help but the Silverwings handlebars are 7/8". Does the GW 1500 have 7/8" handlebars? If so they will fit over the stock grips. If the spare foam grips seem to be a tight fit that needs soapy water or some people use hair spray they will work. They will not be too small because the Silverwing takes the smallest ones. I think you should be able to tell if they are too big. Good luck and be sure to post if they fit on not after you find out. |

| GW 1500 = 7/8" but it appears the GW grips may be a tad longer than the S'wings. I did see a set of what appeared to be add on wrap around foam grips on a Burg, any info on those anyone? |

| Silverwing grips are about 4.5 inches wide. You can never have too much hand real estate. So I would look for bar weight extenders to put them further out, then use the wider grips. I did this for my hotgrips.com heated grips. Worked great. More comfortable too.

| Did anyone mention Grip Puppies? Think I had them on a Burgman. |

| Don't know if there is a US distributor, but I got Grip Puppies from here. For what they are, they're expensive, probably well over $25 including shipping to the US.

Tried 'em, didn't like 'em! DennisB made his own from foam tube, and a lot cheaper than the real thing. (Type 'soft grips' in the search box) |
