Replies???

How do I post a reply to a specific post on the forum? (And, I do not mean a personal message.)

TomG, You originally posted your question in a thread started ny "usnraytn" with the Subject:"reset my password". Effectively you are hijacked a thread. So I moved it.

What you need to do is to go to the thread containing the specific post you'd like to reply to and scroll down to the bottom okf the page below the tool bar and post your message there --in that thread.

You can also click the "quote" button on the specific message you're replying to and that will copy that message onto the Reply screen. Then you can add your comments below that quoted post. Doing that adds to the conversation's continuity --especially if there have been other replies posted between the time the original message was posted and you choose to reply.

Again, you can respond to a thread (subject) anytime in the Reply screen. And you also quote a specific post in your response too --but you don't have to.

I like this site very much but navigating it often puzzles me - and I'm really not computer illiterate.

Tom congratulations you've just replied to a post.  Next you can figure out how to start a new topic. It's easy you just go to the forum your post applies such as "Silver Wing Topics, Accessories & Modifications, Maintenance, Tips and Hints, "Pictorials" Maintenance, DennisB' Shop" etc. Then just click the "New Topic" button up toward the top. I hope this helps.
