Thank you, my friends!
I've had a lovely day - quite a few cards and greetings from Facebook friends and the main part of the day taken up with an X9OC Rideout in the West Country - mostly Dorset - with half-a-dozen riders.
We met at a town called Wincanton and did a more or less circular tour, taking in the chalk figure called the Cerne Abbas Giant, a couple of lovely country towns with a long lunch-stop on the coast in a little resort/port called West Quay.
The ride finished at the Haynes museum. We didn't 'do' it but had a leisurely cup of tea before making our separate ways home.
The rideout itself was 90 miles and I rode a total of 163.
On the ride my Silverwing averaged 64.75 MPG (imp) - pleased with that.
Paulc organised and led the ride as he has done for the four previous ones.
I'm very happy with my day.
