Nicholas Winton R.I.P.

This evening I shall be raising a glass to a great old man Nicholas Winton who has passed away.
He managed to save 669 children from going to the Nazi concentration camps.
He lived for 106 years and every one was well deserved!
He was as sharp as a knife right through to the end and I was most touched to see the television program earlier this year when they brought him face to face with many of those children who would have definitely have died without his magnificent efforts.
I dont know of any one else who has ever managed to save so many children's lives by themselves and so I ask you all, Gentlemen please join me and toast his memory!

Thanks for the reminder HORNBLOWER. Can you imagine the number of lives he affected?
