| I just purchased my silverwing about a month or so ago. Ive only put on about 2000 miles on it and i love it. so now the fun stuff i have sliders went with 24s, Harley pipe installed (still havent removed pair if anybody knows the details or have a link that would be awesome) it has givi windshield, some awesome hand guards and heated grips. next step is probably power commander and backrest. p.s. ive been seeing a burgundy silverwing near west seattle and beacon if thats you hi

| mikelx5 welcome to the best Silverwing forum on the web. What year is your Silverwing? Did you buy it new or used? You say you put on about 2000 miles on it is that the total mileage if not what's the total mileage? You said "Harley pipe installed (still havent removed pair if anybody knows the details or have a link that would be awesome)" what do you mean? I've never heard of a "Harley pipe" on a Silverwing so I can't offer help there. If you are looking forward to learning and plan on doing your own maintenance you'll find you can do anything you need or want with the service manual and help from this forum. I add the paragraph below for most new members because there's a lot of information in the links and may save you some work. Here are some links(3 below in blue)that will help you learn a lot about your Silverwing. If you can't find what you need in the links below the search on this forum works good, and if you still need help just ask and someone will do what they can to answer your questions. | Thanks for the warm welcome the silverwing is a 2004 600 with around 42,000 miles or so. The Harley pipe is off of a 2003 Harley sportster sounds awesome, having sealing issues though. I know the pair valve is causing popping when I let off the throttle, so I am trying to figure out how to disconnect it before i tear into it. Im new to this forum but not honda scoots started on a ruckus then elite 80, i also have a pcx150 that I ride often, usually when im too tired to manuver the silverwing after the gym, had an x9 for a hot second but its a pain for parts. |

| mike,
Welcome and congrats on your SWing. If you get the PC you should make sure you use the Euro Map for it. You can download all the maps from their site and the basic map doesn't do anything but the Euro Map is more custom for a SWing with the PC. I had one and liked it but I didn't have it dyno'd since I couldn't find anyone who would do a scooter here. But others have found places to have theirs dyno'd. Tell us how you ike it when |
