A pleasant Sunday Empty
PostSubject: A pleasant Sunday   A pleasant Sunday I_icon_minitimeSun Sep 13, 2009 5:37 pm

Went to Beaulieu today, not the museum, (British National Motor Museum), but the old WW2 airfield there. Now long gone and reclaimed by the environment.

The intention was a picnic and walk the dog. However, the local model aircraft club were there flying all sorts. From bi-planes to aerobatic planes to flying wings. Then - the Red Arrows appeared and went through there routine. Superb

After the Arrows disappeared, the model flyers all took to the field and launched their aircraft. Another magnificent display. Only wish I had taken my camera and not my bino's.

The only real downer! I was in the car and not on the Wing. Evil or Very Mad
