| Hi y'all! I've been away for a few years; had an affair with a VFR 1200. What a fabulous piece but not terribly comfortable for my old bones though I did do 4 500+ mile days in one week a few summers ago. But I realized I missed the comfort and convenience of the SW and frankly, the sheer power of the VFR was more than a little frightening. So I sold it and I'm back on an '09 SW. Glad to be back in the (comfortable) saddle! Very sad to see DennisB has left the forum. |

| Welcome back! Have you made any mods to your SW since you bought it? |

| Welcome back. I too left the my 2004 SW and after four years got a 2009 SW because of the comfort and ease of handling. Doing 500+ miles a day on any bike is quite a feat. The VFR 1200 must be a great ride. |

| You can come home again! Welcome back. It's interesting to read some of the old topics and see how many members have drifted away. |

| All I've done to the new SW is add a Givi AirFlow. And I got a plate for my Givi trunk but they shipped me a Monolock and not a Monkey so I can't use my E52. Had to steal the E30 from my Elite 110 for now.
The VFR is a GREAT ride, if you never have to drop below 50 or so. It's a heavy back-breaker at low speed and it takes a furlong to do a u-turn. Happy to be back on a SW. |

| I have a 6th gen VFR which is a fine bike. Calling that 1200 a VFR was a mistake on Honda's part, they should have given it an entirely new designation. Isn't that 1200 motor coming here as the Cross Tourer?

| Welcome back. I know the feeling, I gave up my Goldwing and a BMW K1100LT to go full time scootering. So much easier on arthritic knees to be able to stretch your legs out. |
