It has been a long time since I have been here... kinda sad in a way.  Don't recognize a lot of names. I suffered a stroke about 3 years ago that has slowed me down and almost has brought me to a stop. My diabetes has taken a lot out of me also. That is my bigger problem.  I have ridden very little.  Almost entirely short trips of 10 miles or so.  Any longer than that has lost their thrill... but I still dream about places.
I have missed keeping up with this forum.  A lot of good friends.  I learned so much from you when I first was learning about the Silverwing. Family. I have met a lot of you that I hope remember me as being a good guy.  I remember a couple that probably haven't missed me and others that are glad I'm gone. Rolling Eyes

I won't take up more time now.  Just touching base.  I have something else I want to talk about, but that can wait.  Still ride a little.  Been RAINING dealwithit  8.5" last 24 hours.

Gary,

It is great to hear from you again and sorry to hear of your health issues. You have many good friends here and we are glad to see you are back. If you are able we would really enjoy that you keep coming back. You are one of the very early members on this site and you have been missed my friend.

Glad to hear from you again,

Jeff

Thanks for the kind words Jeff... I plan to monitor the forum more now to catch up with the ones that were here when stuff hit the fan for me. I'm glad to be back.

Hi Gary,
Sorry to hear of your misfortunes. Life takes a terrible toll sometimes. Good to hear you're still at least "trying" to ride now and then. We don't always realize that someone might have met with illness such as you have; we just don't hear from them and presume they've gone off in a different direction which is true in some cases. Still, you're not forgotten here, so it's certainly good to hear from you again. Hang in there buddy and keep us posted on how you're doing. Good Luck!!

Gary,

After I made my post I went through to find when people joined this site. You were the 29th member to join and DickO was the 5th person. When I made my comment that you were one of the early members I got curious and looked at the list. So it is good you are back.

It's good to hear from you, Gary.
Is it really that long since you disappeared?

Like everyone else, I'm sorry to hear the bad bits of News but pleased to hear you'll stick around. Smile

Welcome back Gary. I remember when you and Dennis were building your trike. It's good to hear that you are still riding and not letting fate get the better of you.

Gary,

Great to hear you back on the forum, although you've been checking on us from time to time.
I hope your health issues improve enough for eleven mile rides. Laughing small moped small moped

Gary,
So glad to hear from you. Your posts always made me smile. Sorry to hear of your medical issues. I will always remember hanging with you, Debbie and Dennis at the 2011 STO Rally. I enjoyed meeting you and a few others from this forum. There are many new members here, some have come and gone.

Glad to here you will be popping in more often.
