| Just put a new set of tyres on the tenere today, then I notice the rear on the sw is almost down to it's wearmarks. It's looking like anexpensive month! |

| What's the favoured tyre choice for us in the UK? Have a newish Avon on front and a Bridgestone on back and my bike seems to wobble when hitting cats eyes when overtaking,a sign rear tyre is knackered,I haven't checked the tyre pressures yet will do that tomorrow. |

| Most likely the back is squaring off making it dance over white lines etc. Mine was boogieing like crazy last weekend :-) Im just sticking with the bridgestone hoop for now till I learn a bit more about scooter tyres. |

I've got Bridgestone front and rear, never had a problem with them. Some of the members on www.maxi-muppets.co.uk forum have posted some real horror stories about Avons - might just be a problem with the smaller tyre size compared to a bigger bike's tyre. IIRC the worst problems were with the Viper/Stryke. |

| Yes,strange how different tyres perform better on different bikes.Avon Cobras are favoured on Harleys here in UK,I'll get the SW up on me hydraulic bench and give it a close inspection ie tread depth wheel bearings etc. Most likely match the rear with a Bridgestone.New screen next on list as at 75+ it flexes and causes handlebars to shake, could of course need wheel balance.Going to be nice day today so will put few miles on it in the sun |

| I have Pirelli Diablos front and rear. Over 2,000 miles so far and no visible evidence of wear. They corner and grip very well. A great radial from a manufacturer that's been in the scooter business longer than about anybody! |

| I know SilverWing not designed for radials!
For original tire question: IRC recommended tire for my 2013 SilverWing. They work fine,IRC Front also works well with Michelin Power Pure SC Rear or Bridgestone Hoop rear, also the Michelin Power Pure does not work for me as front......based on well over 70,000 SilverWing miles. |
