| The Falkirk Wheel is just a futuristic looking boat lift, and the Kelpies are equine statues. Just another one to tick off on this weird list of places a lot of Brit bikers think they have to go. Like John O'Groats, Land's End, and that Millau Bridge in France. Anyway on the other side of the Pond, they'll be already be confusing Falkirk with the Falklands! |

Why would it be nice to know? The countries highlighted in blue on the map of Europe are ones I've toured and rallied in on motorcycle and maxi scooter, although my preferred country is Germany where I've regularly toured for over 30 years. That also includes the old East Germany and other Eastern Bloc countries from the Iron Curtain era. Other countries like the ones I went to in the Forces, and have been to on holiday over the years by air, land, and sea are irrelevant. Last time I checked this was a forum for Silver Wing enthusiasts and their riding experiences. |

| Your right Meldrew, the Millau is something special. We were down that way when it was been built and you still had to detour through the village. A very hot traffic jamb if I remeber rightly. I can remember wondering what it was all about. |

| Meldrew your original comment about some of my trips do not sit right with me, then you come back and tell me the site is for SW enthusiasts of which I am and riding experiences of which I have had many over the last 60 years , I certainly don't need you telling me what the forum is all about I would look at your passed experiences on the site ,I may be wrong but have not you just been re instated, I would prefer to drop the subject with you a guru . |

| 'guru' - it has to do with the number of posts a member has made.
No-one has 'just been reinstated' since no-one has given cause to be suspended for many, many months. Fortunately, the serious upset of the past was dealt with and there is absolutely no reason for anyone to mention or even allude to it, especially as a way of trying to get the better of another member.
That is my word on the subject as a moderator. |
