| I need to get the front wheel off for a tyre change. What's the easiest way of lifting the front off the ground? I've got assorted jacks but no paddock stand, wheres the best jacking point that wont wreck the plastic? |

| Get it onto the centre stand & look under the belly pan, ahead of the oil filter there is a frame cross tube, easiest is a 'scissor' jack. The tube may not be immediately obvious as it has a piece of rubber (water deflector) fixed to it, it's about 2" behind the end of the plastic

| A scissors jack with a flat board, to distribute the weight, under the fuel tank. There's a flat, louvered panel there which serves as the bottom of the scoot. IIRC a good point of balance is directly below the fuel fill.
The weight is supported by the sub frame where that louvered panel mounts.
If you first remove the fender you'll only need to raise the wheel off the floor an inch, but with the fender still mounted you'll need several inches for the wheel to clear.
