Knott End Bike Night

I attended the weekly bike night at the Knott End Café last night (24/08/16) I saw a black Silverwing (with dark met. red helmet) parked by the jetty and just wondered if it was a member of this forum?

I was on my silver silverwing.

Knott End is one of my regular rides (usually once or twice a week) NOT on bike nights though. I don't go in for pally pally buddy buddy nights, or days, for that matter, as my preference is to be alone whether riding or resting, just the way I am I suppose. My Silverwing is Black apart from the silver mudguard.

I respect how you feel. I enjoy being a "Lone Rider" and detest some of the idiots that gather at bike meets. There were two near misses last night at Knott End.

That being the case, I suppose we'll never meet, nor want to speak to each other.

Seems a bit sad really, a bit of a shame, eh?

I bet you still haven't bought some of the finest tasting kippers from the Port of Lancaster Smokehouse on the West Quay at Glasson Dock.

You are right Meldrew. Mrs Limey buys the food, I did find out where the kipper place was though. In any case it's usually on Sundays when I go ,so they are probably not open. Flyingpanman I do speak to people, I  just like to be left alone with my cup of tea, and enjoy my cigar.Visited Knott End today (Saturday) only three bikes there, a most enjoyable visit ,lovely sunny day.
