Hi all, I'm Jack, live near Exeter, currently riding a Foresight FES 250.  I'll be getting an FJS 600 as soon as I am in a position to do so.  I've done a lot of study on this vehicle and it looks to be an eminently sensible and enjoyable choice.  This forum is a great source of info, tips and interesting mods.  I'm put off a J Costa variator (or similar) due to the claimed excessive belt wear (annual replacements or there about), but I plan on new sliders, air filter, springs front + rear, power commander, maybe a new exhaust if I can stretch to it.  All designed to increase efficiency and / or power.  I've read that lips and ears can help with the aerodynamics ... not sure about them, I'll have to do some more research.
Anyhoo, if anyone has any recommends for other such enhancements, I'd be interested to hear them.   Smile

Cheers, and have a great weekend!

  Jack.

jaquesaulait..........Welcome to the forum from another UK member. I'd suggest that you get yourself a SWing first. Then use it for a while before deciding what mods "needs" to be done. You've no doubt read lots of info on this forum stating what mods other members have done but that doesn't mean they are the right mods for you. You may just surprise yourself to find that you're happy the way it is. Just don't jump into the trap of throwing mods and money into the bike. Find a good bike and enjoy the ride.

Wise words. Den, cheers.  I realise that, especially after a battle weary 250, a 600 is gonna seem acefab anyway.  But one gets used to vehicles quickly and I doubt I'll be able to resist tweaking it a little bit..!
