Hi overthere - hello from Germany

Hi,
beside riding over 30 years motorbikes and
after some experiences decades ago with small Italian scooters I started ten years ago with the newer Italians (150/180/250 Piaggio Hexagon).
As in the winter it is an advantage to keep both feet on the ground on snowy, slippery roads. But these Italians were not really reliable.
The new big scooters than were just too expensive. But now I got one cheap majesty 250 and a 2001 Silver Wing 600.

I´m not quite sure if the CBS is a really advantage because I think on snowy roads it can block the front wheel.

I will give it a try.

I still have some motorbikes and still ride them- in Germany tax and Insurance for motorbikes are quite unexpencive (e.g. I pay about 200$ insurance and 100$ tax for my biggest one (Pan European 1300)).

Really fresh- we had this morning -24 Fahrenheit-

I like Celsius much because it is very simple- if on daytime it is over 0 and nightime under Zero you should really ride carefully. If weather condition is constant under 0 it should be no such big problem without snow.

And Photos?
I will get my title for the SW today- so not so many (indeed no one) yet.

But TWIMC I attach the photos of our (best wife of the world and me) vacation the last summer.
With a to a camper converted ambulance and one Kawasaki GPZ 500 as dinghy to Biarritz (France) than Spain and over St.Tropez (France) and Venice (no- not California) back home.

So now as I really pleased with my Silver Wing I sold my 1300 Pan and bought another, additional one- better than my silver one (daily runner).
A blue one with the aluminium parts polished.

Dr.Pulleys, brake light under the topbox, vinyl look like chromed steel mounted on the footrests, larger windshield, heated grips,additional lock at the normally unlocked glove compartement, Fehling chrom bars, some changes to the lights, vinyl on the grey plastic parts in the middle section
