| No it wasn't just you JB. I couldn't get onto Maxi Muppets all day. Only just got in at just after midnight on Tuesday. I could get on here alright throughout the day though.

| Funky's been wrestling with problems at the server.
I think he's managed to get somewhere with it but requests patience. |

| Message from Funky - 9.00. this evening:
Maxi-Muppets.co.uk forum update... After a huge amount of attempted troubleshooting I am seeing too many issues caused by the hack than I can fix, some of these issues may have been added to in my attempt to fix others, its a real mess. The database for the forum is unaffected which is why it appears to be ticking along nicely. Because of all these issues in the background, I am planning this weekend to shut down the server and re-install from scratch. This will take a long time, but no where near as long as it would to trouble shoot everything out. Thank you in advance for your patience. Peter |

| A bit harsh oldwingguy. Just publish the names and addresses of the perpetrators and village justice to take it's course. Village justice is when people pop round for a "quiet word"... :-) |

Oh wait, were you referring to the cost of the keyboard or the weight? Either way, send them to visit the fish. |

Peter Moulds: Just thought I'd give you all an update...
- everything backed up successfully and tested to ensure no data loss - came across a database issue and fixed which reduced it from 260 MB to a much more manageable 125 MB, This is why the search function was not very good. - database re-exported and tested to ensure no data loss. - Server Rebuilt - Currently updating server |

| Thanks for the updates Mike. It always impresses me just how much work people 'behind the scenes' of the forums do. I'm sure it applies to all forums.
So a big 'Thankyou' to everybody who labours away in the background keeping these things running. It's all to easy just to log on and take things for granted.

| No luck yet; Funky's called in the services of a friend to help as he's run out of ideas. He's getting loads of encouragement from Facebook Muppets but the end is not yet in sight.
Fingers crossed. |
